Bad Ischl is an attractive town which is a popular year round holiday destination. It has a good range of restaurants and shops. The town has an old world elegance,  it was once the favourite holiday resort of the Austrian Royal family and still retains the charm of a bygone age. Indulge yourself at Zauner's Konditorei or pamper yourself at the the thermal baths. Walk the surrounding hills or simply relax and enjoy a peaceful break amidst wonderful scenery.

Wrap up warm and join us for a day at the “Fun Park” at the Postalm Ski resort . There is lots to do including toboganning, tubing, body boards, snow bikes and winter walks. Stay on into the evening and enjoy the floodlit toboggan run. If you want to have a go at skiing this is the ideal place to start, there is excellent tuition and over 20km of wide easy pistes to try out your new skills.

The Postalm ski resort is the second largest high plateau in Europe set in the mountains above Lake Wolfgang in Austria's Salzkammergut. The scenery is stunning, it is sunny and snow sure. The resort is designed with families in mind, there is a good range of reasonably priced places to eat and the facilities are child friendly.

Other Activities:

On other days there is plenty to do. Why not try ice skating, cross country skiing or a walk in the snow. Relax in the thermal baths in water which is a warming 30 to 32 degrees or take in one of the many beauty therapies on offer. Take a horse drawn sleigh ride. You can even brush up your golf technique at the indoor golf academy.
